Shared and Dedicated

Shared or Dedicated: which access level the catalogue is offering you

Shared nodes: 98 chains on one endpoint

Shared RPC nodes are the basic level of GetBlock: a dApp reaches the chain over infrastructure pooled with other users, billed by compute units, with a free tier to test against before anything is reserved. The right fit for an early-stage dApp and for testing before you scale — no capacity to size in advance, and nothing to migrate if the chain changes. The endpoint is issued in your account dashboard.

Dedicated RPC nodes: 124 chains, your own server

Dedicated RPC nodes are the premium level of GetBlock: the whole server answers to one team, with no computational resources shared with anyone — the recommended way to scale a dApp or run a high-load application. Available in three regions, with archive mode and nonstandard clients per chain, plus IP allowlists, a custom endpoint URL, automatic RPC failover and analytics.
