## Compute Units

Shared node usage is metered in Compute Units. Each RPC method carries a weight based on how much work it costs the node to serve: heavy calls such as `eth_getLogs` cost more CUs than a simple balance lookup. Requests are not billed individually, and RPS is a throughput cap rather than a billing metric.

The CU balance is shared across every endpoint under the Shared Nodes tab of the account. Unused CUs roll over to the next month as long as the subscription stays active and renews on time. If the subscription lapses, the remaining balance is lost. Free plan CUs renew daily and do not roll over.

If demand exceeds the plan allowance, extra CU packages can be bought without moving up a tier. Top-up rates fall as the tier rises, reaching $0.40 per 1M CU on Pro and $0.35 per 1M CU on Premium.

The same call costs more against an archive endpoint than a full one. Each method carries a base CU cost plus a multiplier per endpoint type, and the final charge is the base multiplied by the relevant factor. On Sui, for example, an uncategorized method costs 100 CU on a full endpoint and 200 CU on an archive endpoint, an archive multiplier of 2. Archive-heavy workloads should be sized with that in mind.

A dedicated endpoint with guaranteed RPS and no Compute Unit metering. Pick an RPS tier on a single chain, pay a fixed monthly fee, and send as many requests as the throughput allows. **Subscription terms.** Shared node plans and Limitless Nodes bill monthly or annually, with 20% off annual. Dedicated nodes bill as fixed-term subscriptions of 1, 6, or 12 months, with larger discounts on longer terms.

**Payment methods.** Card and cryptocurrency via NOWPayments. Enterprise plans can bill fully in crypto. Only the supported tokens listed at checkout should be sent, since unsupported tokens may be unrecoverable.

**VAT.** Value Added Tax, also called Sales Tax in some jurisdictions, may apply depending on billing location.
