A NEAR validator operates infrastructure that processes network activity and helps secure NEAR Protocol. Token holders can delegate NEAR to a validator and receive protocol staking rewards.

Indicative APY is an annualized estimate based on recent protocol rewards, validator commission, performance, and network conditions. It is variable and not guaranteed.
Validator commission is the percentage of staking rewards retained by the operator. It applies to rewards, not to the original amount of NEAR delegated.
Yes. You delegate from your own wallet and authorize staking, unstaking, and withdrawal transactions yourself. Validators do not receive access to your private keys.
