Tenet performance notes
Tenet is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK, purpose-built for Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDfi) applications. Tenet pioneered Diversified Proof of Stake (DiPoS), enabling validators to secure the network using a basket of liquid staking derivatives like wstETH, cbETH, rETH, and staked BNB, ATOM, or ADA, while earning dual yield from both underlying staking rewards and Tenet block rewards. The network supports the LSDC stablecoin, an overcollateralized, decentralized dollar backed by a diversified basket of LSDs.
Tenet differentiates itself by removing single-asset concentration risk through DiPoS validation, exponentially decreasing attack probability by requiring control over multiple asset classes for consensus. The protocol benefits LSD holders seeking additional yield without sacrificing native staking income, DeFi developers building cross-chain applications via IBC and EVM compatibility, and validators seeking diversified collateral options while contributing to network governance and security.
