ARB APIS FOR DAPPS

Arbitrum RPC: Why should you choose it?

Arbitrum is a dominant L2 solution on the top of Ethereum (ETH), a leading smart contracts platform. It boosts throughput and reduces fees for Ethereum transactions. GetBlock was among the first RPC API endpoints providers to integrate Arbitrum nodes.

  • Arbitrum launched in August, 2021. It leverages Optimistic Rollups to reduce transactional pressure on Ethereum. When connected to Arbitrum RPC API, dApps can process Ethereum (ETH) transactions at a reduced price and increased speed.

  • Arbitrum increased its user base via multiple Odyssey campaigns: crypto enthusiasts were invited to experiment with various dApps on Arbitrum RPC nodes.

  • Arbitrum ‘rolls up’ the data about multiple transactions into a single batch; Ethereum’s L1 handles it as a single transaction. As of Q2, 2023, Arbitrum nodes supercharge the largest Ethereum’s L2 by TVL, it hosts over 66% of net volume of all L2 protocols.

Arbitrum RPC endpoints became particularly popular after the airdrop of ARB tokens that happened in March, 2023. Multiple ARB airdrop recipients used private ARB RPC endpoints to claim drop faster.
