Scroll APIS FOR DAPPS
Scroll (SCROLL) is an L2 zkEVM blockchain network developed by Ethereum (ETH) ecosystem vets. It utilizes advanced zero knowledge proof (ZKP) technology, battle-tested EVM models to achieve enhanced level of compatibility with Ethereum’s L1.
Introduced in 2021 as a novel way to scale Ethereum, Scroll (SCROLL) is a zkEVM L2 that leverages the latest developments of ZK tech to save resources of Ethereum’s L1 and process transactions faster.
Scroll (SCROLL) mainnet kicked off in mid-October 2023: the network was among the first viable zkEVM blockchains with live transactions.
The team of the blockchain is aimed at pushing the barriers of functionality and accessibility in Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem;
Scroll’s multi-layer architecture design includes Scroll node, Roller Network and Rollup/Bridge contracts. These elements are designed to achieve L2 transaction finality and broadcast them to Ethereum’s L1.
