Wax RPC: Why should you choose it?

Wax blockchain was introduced by cryptocurrency veterans William E. Quigley and Jonathan Yantis in 2015. Its mainnet operations started in 2017. The network was among the first “purpose-built” blockchains tailored for e-commerce.

  • Since it is a programmable blockchain, it supports smart contracts of various types. The blockchain is suitable for all classes of cryptocurrency software applications: from DeFi yield farming machines to digital collectibles marketplaces for in-game objects.

  • Wax gained traction in 2021 amidst the euphoria of non-fungible tokens, Play-to-Earn protocols, GameFis, metaverses and other entertainment digital platforms on blockchain rails.

  • Its network ecosystem includes a variety of commercial and development instruments designed to ensure its leadership in NFT marketplaces and metaverses segment. The blockchain supports WAX Cloud Wallet, SSO and OAUTH, a native random number generation tool, and so on.

  • The network leverages Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) - a more sophisticated version of PoS - as its consensus mechanism. Also, Wax is well-known for its backward compatibility with early smart contracts platform EOS.IO.
