Linea RPC: Why should you choose it?

Linea is a second-layer blockchain network on the top of Ethereum. It is a zkEVM platform, an EVM-equivalent blockchain based on zero-knowledge rollups.

  • Linea RPC APIs are suitable for deploying all sorts of dApps including DeFis, NFT marketplaces, cryptocurrency wallets, trading bots, exchanges, and so on.

  • Polygon zkEVM, zkSync Era and other similar platforms are direct competitors to the blockchain by ConsenSys while Optimism and Arbitrum leverage slightly different rollups technologies.

  • Like other zkEVM platforms, it is suitable for running Ethereum dApps written in Solidity, but with 15x lower fees and at an incredibly high speed. zkEVMs also guarantee enhanced levels of privacy.

  • Linea kicked off in public mainnet in August, 2023. It is developed and supported by ConsenSys, a largest Ethereum-centric development studio that maintains MetaMask, Infura, and Truffle.

Linea RPC APIs are suitable for deploying all sorts of dApps including DeFis, NFT marketplaces, cryptocurrency wallets, trading bots, exchanges, and so on.
