How fast is GetBlock's RPC?

In OpenChainBench's measurements on October 8, 2026, GetBlock's median RPC latency was 7.5 ms on Base, 8.1 ms on Arbitrum, 8.2 ms on Solana, 8.5 ms on BNB Chain, 8.7 ms on Polygon, 9.0 ms on Ethereum, 10.9 ms on Robinhood Chain and 14.2 ms on Arc. In Singapore, its median was 3.3–4.0 ms on every chain it serves there.

What is the fastest Ethereum RPC provider?

In OpenChainBench's Ethereum benchmark, GetBlock had the lowest median latency among commercial RPC API providers: 9.0 ms p50 over 24 hours, averaged across US-East, EU-West and Singapore, as of October 8, 2026. QuickNode measured 27.6 ms, Alchemy 35.1 ms and Chainstack 63.6 ms.

How does GetBlock compare with QuickNode, Alchemy and Chainstack?

On the 8 chains GetBlock led, its median latency was 2.4× to 3.7× lower than the next-fastest provider. QuickNode was the runner-up on 7 of those chains and Chainstack on Robinhood Chain.

How does OpenChainBench measure RPC latency?

It sends an identical eth_getBlockByNumber or getSlot request on Solana to each provider every 120 seconds from US-East, EU-West and Singapore. It records the client-side round-trip time and computes p50, p90 and p99 over 24 hours per region. Only successful, fresh responses count toward latency.

Is OpenChainBench data open?

Yes. OpenChainBench publishes its benchmark data with live results available through its public website and JSON API. Its methodology and benchmark code are also publicly available.
