Zcoin is all about how to make transactions completely anonymous. This cryptocurrency utilises zero-knowledge proofs via the Sigma Protocol (formerly Zerocoin protocol) to provide better privacy for its users. Such a structure allows users to send and receive coins without revealing their transaction history.

Zcoin also utilizes Dandelion++ to conceal your IP address when making a transaction on the network. Another great feature used by Zcoin is Merkle Tree Proofs (MTP), the designed Proof-of-Work algorithm which aims to be memory hard with fast verification.
