Vladislav Sopov is Head of Marketing at GetBlock, a blockchain RPC infrastructure platform. In crypto since 2017, he authored more than 3,600 articles at U.Today, contributed to Crypto Briefing reports and holds expert status with BeInCrypto and Forbes. A former Lead Analyst at one of the first atomic swap DEXes, he has spoken at EDCON and ETH Belgrade.

He joined GetBlock as a freelance copywriter in January 2021 and advanced through every rung of the organization: part-time content editor by April 2021, content lead in 2022, Head of Content in 2023, Head of Content and DevRel in 2024, and Head of Marketing since 2026.

Vladislav has worked in crypto since 2017. He served as Lead Analyst at Swap.Online, one of the first atomic swap decentralized exchanges, from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as Crypto Analyst at Crypto Briefing, the US-based digital asset research house known for its institutional-grade altcoin due diligence, where he prepared deep investment reports on emerging tokens. His October 2019 report assigned MATIC a score of 86 out of 100; the token went on to rally 144x from that call.

Between 2019 and 2025, he progressed from contributor to news reporter and commercial projects lead at U.Today, a crypto media outlet with 8.6 million monthly visits as of Q1 2025, authoring more than 3,600 articles verified by Muck Rack. His bylines have also appeared on Hackernoon and CryptoComes, and he is a recognized expert with BeInCrypto and Forbes.

He advises 0-1 Agency, FLIIST, and projects building AMMs and trading bots, mentors startups at the TON Nest VC incubator, and has spoken at EDCON 2023 and ETH Belgrade 2024, with conference appearances dating back to 2018. He holds ABD status in a PhD program in the History of Europe.
