About

Alexandr Alekhin is Head of Product at GetBlock, a blockchain RPC infrastructure platform. A technical product manager with 7+ years across deep-tech projects, he previously led product at Cloudless Labs, the team behind the Fluence decentralized computing platform, and at EYWA cross-chain protocol. He began his career in computational geophysics at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Alexandr Alekhin is Head of Product at GetBlock, a blockchain RPC infrastructure platform. A technical product manager with more than seven years in complex science and technology projects, he specializes in understanding multi-component systems, setting up product processes, and bridging technical teams with business stakeholders and customers.

Before GetBlock, Alexandr served as Product Lead at Cloudless Labs, the company behind Fluence, an open-source decentralized serverless computing platform backed by investors including Multicoin Capital and 1kx. Earlier, he was Technical Product Manager at EYWA, a cross-chain protocol built on a decentralized oracle network with BLS signature validation, where he owned requirements, backlog, UX for node operators and DEX users, and technical specifications for two protocol products.

Alexandr began his career in physics. At RadExPro Seismic Software, he managed product modules for 2D and 3D acoustic, navigation, and borehole data processing, and before that led a six-person engineering team at a company based at Lomonosov Moscow State University serving the oil and gas sector. His PhD research at MSU focused on mathematical elastic modeling of composites.

A committed proponent of the Feynman method, decomposing hard problems into parts every team member can reason about, Alexandr has created and taught university courses on seismic data processing and petroelastic modeling, and writes on oracles, blockchain interoperability, zk-proofs, and decentralized network architecture on Medium.
