Bitcoin Cash is one of the most successful forks of the Bitcoin network. It launched in 2017 as a project of a group of BTC developers who opposed the implementation of Segregated Witnesses (SegWit) scalability technology.
From the onset, it has been promoted as a cryptocurrency for retail payments. It verifies transactions faster than Bitcoin, so BCH RPC APIs are suitable for usage in e-commerce and in PoS terminals.
In November, 2020, the initial version of Bitcoin Cash protocol was forked: new currency was called BitcoinABC or BCHA. Both BCH node versions are based on Proof-of-Work consensus and SHA-256 cryptography.
BCH protocol is associated with the name of Roger Ver, one of the first Bitcoin evangelists also known as “Bitcoin Jesus”. He promotes his brainchild as the only original implementation of “digital peer-to-peer cash” envisaged by Satoshi Nakamoto.
As long as you work with GetBlock’s BCH nodes, you don’t need to spend resources on servers, DevOps teams and so on: we offer ready-made blockchain nodes solutions that can be activated in minutes.
Our users can customize their BCH RPC nodes endpoints regardless of their previous experience with GetBlock’s intuitive interface and premium-level customer support.
