With new RPC nodes, the next generation of developers will be able to deploy their dApps on base in a frictionless, cost-efficient manner.

GetBlock adds support for Base, a novel L2 incubated by Coinbase

Base blockchain, a novel second-layer solution for Ethereum developed by leading U.S. exchange Coinbase, becomes the latest addition to GetBlock’s stack of supported networks. Starting from August, 2023, GetBlock customers can leverage Base shared and dedicated nodes.

Base RPC nodes by GetBlock

Base RPC nodes are available via JSON-RPC and WebSockets interfaces. In a couple of clicks, developers are able to either start using shared nodes infrastructure or request dedicated node deployment.

Base RPC endpoints are included in all free and paid packages of GetBlock. Teams can experiment with a totally free tariff (up to 40,000 requests per 24 hours) or switch to the “Pay-per-use” model for as low as $29 per 5 million requests. Unlimited plans for Base RPC nodes start from $499 per month.

Starting from Q2, 2023, GetBlock offers its clients new payment methods (crypto and fiat), discount programs, and notifications instruments, check this out.

Modular L2 with ERC-4337 support and no token plans: What is Base?

Launch of Base RPC endpoints is of paramount importance for GetBlock. Leading Web3 infrastructure platform will provide Base-focused developers with all necessary tech support during on-boarding and dApps building.

Base is an EVM-equivalent second-layer solution for Ethereum (ETH) scaling. It is developed on the OP Stack, an Optimism’s open-source framework for rollup-based chains. Simply put, it allows running the same Ethereum dApps faster and can reduce transaction fees by 10x.

From the onset, Base supports all latest developments of the EVM ecosystem including ERC-4337 or “Account Abstraction”. It makes Base a go-to chain for feature-rich dApps in DeFi and NFT segments.
