New device is set to demonstrate the disruptive power of Polygon Network (MATIC) solutions to no-coiners and crypto newbies.

Polygon is going to supercharge Nothing Phone with Web3 tooling

As per the statement shared by Nothing, a mobile start-up focused on new-gen Android devices, it has partnered with Polygon Network, a top-tier EVM-compatible blockchain.

Challenging use-case for Polygon ID

Besides applications and games, Polygon will also introduce its decentralized digital identity solution Polygon ID to the users of Nothing Phone. Polygon ID leverages Polygon blockchain nodes for personal data storage and transfer. This solution is set to replace existing centralized protocols like Google ID and Apple ID.

The upcoming phone - that is expected to be unveiled on July 12, 2022 - will also process retail payments through Polygon’s blockchain.

This isn’t the first time Polygon makes foray into the mobile segment: its instruments have already been integrated into HTC’s Desire 22 Pro, an overhyped ‘Metaverse Phone’ that also supports Ethereum (ETH) mainnet. In this collaboration, Polygon’s infrastructure - including Polygon dedicated nodes - will be used for various data transfer tasks.

GetBlock’s Polygon nodes are ready to fuel next generation of dApps

Release of Nothing Phone is a crucial accomplishment for the Polygon (MATIC) ecosystem as its competitor Solana (SOL) bets big on its smartphone Saga.

GetBlock, a flagship Blockchain-as-a-Service company, offers high-performance shared and dedicated nodes for Polygon (MATIC). GetBlock is ready to assist every startup in becoming a part of Polygon’s revolution with its ready-made strong MATIC nodes.

With its APIs’ stack, every dApp can get reliable and cost-efficient connection to Polygon (MATIC) nodes in a matter of days.
