GetBlock adds Etherlink RPC nodes support

GetBlock adds support for Etherlink, an EVM-compatible environment on top of the Tezos blockchain, to its suite of blockchain infrastructure services.

This allows developers using GetBlock to interact with Etherlink’s blockchain via JSON‑RPC and WebSocket API endpoints and deploy private, dedicated Etherlink nodes. GetBlock’s infrastructure spans Frankfurt, Singapore, and New York, ensuring low-latency, high-availability access to Etherlink nodes in all major global regions.

By hosting Etherlink node infrastructure, GetBlock reduces friction for dApps demanding reliable node performance.

GetBlock powers Etherlink with global RPC access

The latest integration allows developers to access Etherlink's blockchain data and functionality through GetBlock's fast and reliable RPC infrastructure, with flexibility in access type.

Options include Shared Nodes with ready-to-use RPC endpoints and Dedicated Nodes for private, high-capacity deployments. Archive node access is supported for both shared and dedicated instances.

Here’s what’s available on GetBlock for Etherlink integration:

Networks: Etherlink Mainnet

Shared Nodes: JSON‑RPC and WebSocket endpoints

Dedicated Nodes: Private, customizable Etherlink nodes – full and archive

Archive data access: Archive mode available on both shared and dedicated nodes for the full blockchain history data

Global infrastructure: Endpoints and dedicated nodes can be set up in selected regions – the US, Europe, and Asia

All of the services and features can be set up and managed directly from the GetBlock user dashboard. Simply sign up and begin your Etherlink development journey with GetBlock.

GetBlock CEO Vasily Rudomanov comments on Etherlink's debut on GetBlock:

Etherlink, as a Layer 2 solution, is an ambitious spin-off of Tezos, one of the biggest ICOs of all time. Being fully EVM-compatible, Etherlink streamlines migration from established L1/L2 platforms—developers can literally switch to it with minimal code changes. With negligible fees, impressive transaction finality, and generous ecosystem grant support, Etherlink has every chance to succeed. GetBlock is excited to do its part: we've deployed Etherlink's full and archive nodes in our Singapore, New York, and Frankfurt clusters for the lowest possible latency and maximum performance.

What is Etherlink? EVM on Tezos

Etherlink is a decentralized, permissionless Layer 2 blockchain leveraging Tezos Smart Rollup technology to deliver sub-second finality and near-zero transaction fees. It combines the robust security and governance of Tezos Layer 1 with the Ethereum ecosystem compatibility.

Built for improving UX for payments, microtransactions, and high-frequency apps, Etherlink is highly attractive for launching and operating scalable, cost-effective dApps, DeFi, GameFi, and beyond.

Since its launch in 2024, the protocol has made a notable impact on the Tezos ecosystem, attracting significant developer and user activity.

By integrating Etherlink, GetBlock empowers dApp developers to build and scale more efficiently with access to cutting-edge infrastructure.

Getting started: How to launch Etherlink endpoints and nodes with GetBlock
