Blast is an Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) network that integrates native yield generation for Ether (ETH) and stablecoins, utilizing an optimistic rollup mechanism. It leverages Ethereum's staking rewards and real-world asset (RWA) protocols to automatically accrue yield for users, with ETH holders earning approximately 4% annual yield and stablecoin holders receiving around 5% through its native stablecoin, USDB. This approach allows users to passively earn returns without the need for active staking or lending, distinguishing Blast from other L2 solutions that typically offer no yield.
