Vasily Rudomanov brings over 27 years of experience in engineering and product management, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, cloud-native application orchestration, data storage, and networking across a range of Web2 and Web3 verticals.
Prior to joining GetBlock as Chief Product Officer in Q4 2024, Vasily held senior product leadership roles at several leading blockchain and technology companies. He served as Chief Product Officer at Chainstack, a veteran full-stack blockchain infrastructure provider, and as Product Lead at MarsBase, an innovator in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
He also led Cambrian, Solana’s developer infrastructure powerhouse, as CPO, where he spearheaded the development of next-generation tooling and services aimed at improving the experience and efficiency of Solana-based developers.
The new CEO has a track of Web3 hackathon victories. His innovative Unstoppable RPC concept secured wins at both ETHGlobal and ETHBelgrade hackathons, earning recognition for its originality and technical excellence.
Before transitioning into Web3, Rudomanov spent over two decades in Web2 engineering and product management with a specialization in cloud solutions. He played a key role in shaping product strategies at several leading technology companies, including Acronis, a Swiss-headquartered software heavyweight, where he contributed to over 1,500 deployments and 250 petabytes of protected data at peak.
Rudomanov holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology and an MBA, both awarded summa cum laude. In addition to his executive work, he is an experienced startup mentor and educator, with lecturing engagements at the Schaffhausen Institute of Technology.
Commenting on his appointment, GetBlock’s new CEO stated:
It is a true privilege to assume the role of CEO at GetBlock. The company has been a pioneering force in the Web3 infrastructure space, and as we enter a new era of decentralized application adoption - driven by a new Internet architecture - I see tremendous opportunity to evolve our mission: to become the most trusted and developer-centric Web3 infrastructure provider in the world.
In his new role, Rudomanov will focus on enhancing the quality of GetBlock’s Web3 data services, introducing new tools for developers, expanding support to more blockchains, and strengthening the company’s core team to meet the growing demands of the ecosystem.
Arseniy Voitenko, GetBlock’s ex-CEO, reflects on the leadership transition and welcomes his successor:
Being entrusted with the team of GetBlock has been the highlight of my career in Web3 and IT. I treasure having had the opportunity to build one of the leading RPC node providers from the ground up, growing the team from zero to sixty employees and evolving the product from a bold experiment into a blockchain data machine processing tens of billions of requests each month. I’ve never been more excited about GetBlock’s trajectory. In passing the reins to Vasily, I have the utmost confidence in him.
During Voitenko’s five-year tenure, GetBlock achieved several key milestones and advancements across all areas of the business:
- Product: Transformed from a two-person startup into one of the world’s top five RPC node providers, offering access to over 75 blockchain testnets and mainnets.
- Infrastructure: Scaled from a couple of servers to multiple geo-distributed clusters located in the EU, USA, and Asia.
- Company: Grew from the initial hires to a global team of more than 60 employees, with dual headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia, and Singapore.
- Service: Expanded from zero commercial clients to 1,000+ active companies, now processing dozens of billions requests each month.
- Innovation: Became the first mainstream RPC node provider to support BNB Smart Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Scroll, and released first-ever grant-funded NEAR explorer and associated API. Also GetBlock introduced Solana Pro, its proprietary enhancement to standard Solana RPC node functionality.
- Contribution to Web3 ecosystem: Operates the largest free RPC tooling network for researchers and students, supports dozens of startups through infrastructure grants, and provides pro bono node connectivity to universities across Nigeria.
Founded in Q4 2019, GetBlock is an award-winning RPC node provider and one of the largest in the blockchain infrastructure space. The platform offers API access to more than 75 blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, and leading Layer 2 networks such as Optimism and Arbitrum.
GetBlock enables developers and Web3 teams to connect to blockchain networks without the need to run and maintain their own nodes. Through ready-to-use API endpoints, clients can streamline integration and scale operations efficiently. To support a wide range of decentralized applications, GetBlock provides both free and premium service packages.
In addition to its commercial offerings, GetBlock actively supports the Web3 ecosystem by powering incubation programs, accelerators, and early-stage startups with access to high-performance RPC infrastructure.
