With Unichain emerging as a fast, DeFi-first Layer-2, developers need reliable, production-grade RPC endpoints to build on it. Today, GetBlock is excited to announce first-class support for Unichain Mainnet — now available through our API under both Shared and Dedicated node support.
GetBlock adds support for Unichain nodes – JSON-RPC & WebSocket endpoints live
GetBlock now offers fully managed access to Unichain Mainnet through JSON-RPC and WebSocket APIs.
Our users can set up Shared node Unichain endpoints located in EU (Frankfurt), US (New York), and APAC (Singapore) for fast access with managed scaling. Another available option is to provision Dedicated Unichain nodes in the same regions for private isolated infrastructure.
Making an intro for the new development, GetBlock CEO Vasily Rudomanov highlights Unichain's benefits for DeFi applications:
When we first heard about Unichain, the community was skeptical - wondering why we'd need another L2, even with such a prominent name. However, Unichain's release and growth have turned the tables. With 200ms subblocks and instant, cost-effective transactions paired with interoperability tooling, Unichain has carved out its niche. At GetBlock, we're doing our part - Unichain RPC APIs are now enabled for Dedicated and Shared Node users, with regional endpoints available in Frankfurt, New York, and most recently, Singapore.

Getting started with Unichain API on GetBlock
Both Shared endpoints and Dedicated nodes are created from the GetBlock dashboard. To create a shared Unichain endpoint:
Sign in to your GetBlock account
Open Shared Nodes → My endpoints → Get
Set Protocol and Network: Unichain, Mainnet
Pick the region closest to your users or infra (Frankfurt, New York, or Singapore)
Create an HTTP or WebSocket endpoint
The new Unichain RPC URL is ready to use immediately and appears under My endpoints in the dashboard for copy/paste.

When you need dedicated bandwidth and custom configuration, upgrade to an isolated Unichain node:
Open Dedicated Nodes tab
Choose Unichain Mainnet from the dropdown and click Get
Pick node configurations in the setup window that opens: full or archive mode, region (EU, US, Asia), and APIs (HTTP, WS).

If you’d like a more tailored setup, reach out to our sales or support team via the Contact form. Our engineers can customize a Dedicated Unichain node to your project’s needs, from managed add-ons and security controls to node clusters for high-availability production environments.
What is Unichain?
Unichain is a DeFi-oriented Layer-2 built to scale Ethereum-native liquidity and applications. It launched mainnet earlier in 2025 and is attracting major DeFi interest.
The network offers fast block times and economics designed for liquidity providers and DeFi protocols. Unichain exposes standard Ethereum RPC methods, making migration and multi-chain tooling straightforward for existing EVM-compatible stacks.
GetBlock continues to expand its network coverage so developers can access the newest and most promising blockchains without the operational overhead. Unichain is a natural addition to our RPC portfolio – especially for teams building DeFi and cross-chain liquidity tools – and we’re proud to make reliable Unichain endpoints available today.
