Scroll, one of the first native zkEVM solutions for Ethereum’s scaling on L2, shares the details of its airdrop. SCR tokens will be sent to early users on October 22, 2024 while the snapshot happens three days earlier. With GetBlock RPC nodes, the drop can be claimed faster.
SCR airdrop date revealed: Scroll distributes tokens on Oct. 22
Scroll, an Ethereum-based Layer Two platform on zero-knowledge EVM (zkEVM), disclosed the schedule and exact details of its upcoming airdrop. The snapshot will be taken on October 19, 2024 while SCR drop is expected to happen on October 22.

Out of total Scroll’s supply of 1 billion tokens, 7% will be allocated for Oct. 2024 airdrop while 8% will be transferred to the community during next phases of distribution. 35% of the total token supply will be reserved to promote the ecosystem and growth of the Scroll community while the remaining funds will be shared between foundation, early investors and team.
On Oct.19, 2024, the team will take a snapshot, i.e. complete the procedures of qualification. Full list of the accounts eligible for airdrop will be known by Oct.19.

Please, be informed that every service pretending to be demonstrating availability status before Oct.19 and allegedly offering SCR before Oct.22 is a blatant scam and should be avoided.

What is Scroll, a most eccentric Ethereum’s L2
Introduced in early 2021, Scroll is the first mainstream solution on zkEVM, i.e. a version of Ethereum Virtual Machine focused on better performance, higher compatibility with Ethereum’s L1 and secure transactions.
