Videos are all about speakers, showrunners, editors, guests. So let's introduce the two minds behind GetBlock's YouTube: Ileolami and Sergei.

A graduate of the University of Benin, Nigeria, Ileolami is a front-end developer, tech writer, and the person who built the DevRel function at GetBlock from the ground up. Beyond that, she's a serial hackathon winner, educator, thought leader, speaker, advisor, and was named a top blockchain personality in Africa by Accelerating Action for Women in Web3 ranking.

And there's more where that came from.

That's the kind of description you'd generally expect from LinkedIn.

But there's much more. First, Ileolami is "from the trenches" as her track record in commercial development is solid, and she only talks about what she's actually built and stress-tested herself. When everyone's just churning out lazy, dumbed-down content, she's actually the real deal. 

Second, she genuinely loves what she talks about. Every piece of content she creates is filled with passion and charisma.

And here's Sergei, a proud alum of the Higher School of Economics, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Europe, and a master's student at The Argentine University of Enterprise (UADE). Imagine that mix! Sergei is our Argentinian-in-Chief, fluent in Spanish, French, German, and god knows what else. And he keeps learning every day.

He's also a hands-on smart contract developer with serious experience in the TON ecosystem. A lifelong traveller, he's the CEO of memes, an expert in internet culture, and the managing partner of good humor.

While others are still trying to make sophisticated things easier, Sergei makes them fun as well.

We expect great things from these two.

We're trying to mix things up so there's something for everyone - whether you're a total noob or you've been in crypto since before it was cool.

Running Web3 show is our attempt to merge real research about what truly matters with dense explainers. In our weekly episodes, we ask: out of this week's headliners, what will actually matter for Web3 in years to come? Honestly, crypto YouTube is full of clickbait garbage. We want to actually be serious about this stuff. Solana, Ethereum, stablecoins, no tribalism here.

GetBlock Podcasts are our real talks with guests and GetBlock employees. We also try to ditch those casual "Dear guest, how did you become so rich and successful?" shows with motivational quotes from dudes you've never heard of. These are our reflections and honest dialogues on Web3's challenges and promises. We're not focused on loud names, we choose hands-on builders instead. In our first episodes, we discussed the Messari Crypto Theses report and challenged Superteam Balkan's founder.
