New Shared Nodes GetBlock plan Advanced

GetBlock is launching Advanced, a new plan positioned between our Starter and Pro tiers. This update was driven by usage data and feedback from customers who were bumping into Starter limits but weren’t ready for Pro. Our brand new plan is designed to fill that gap.

Our new shared node plan, Advanced, gives teams a meaningful step up in Compute Units (CU), requests-per-second (RPS), and Access Tokens compared to Starter and prepares for a smooth progression to Pro. Starting at $159 per month, it offers more compute per dollar than Starter, while remaining smaller than Pro.

Introducing Advanced – GetBlock’s new Shared Node plan

For many of our users, the Starter Shared Node plan provided the perfect entry point to GetBlock’s premium RPC services. Yet, as the projects matured, Starter was no longer enough to comfortably support their growth, but the leap straight to Pro felt too big.

We listened — and today, we’re excited to announce Advanced, GetBlock’s new Shared Node plan. Advanced focuses on three upgrades for teams moving off Starter: more Compute Units (CU), higher throughput, and additional Access Tokens.

Our goal with Advanced is simple: to make scaling more natural. Instead of jumping from entry-level to Pro, you now have a clear, manageable progression: StarterAdvancedProEnterprise.

What you get with Advanced – More resources, smarter spend

Advanced is the practical middle tier between Starter and Pro in both resources and pricing. Starting at $159 per month, it includes:

220M Compute Units (CU)

100 Requests per Second (RPS)

25 Access Tokens (endpoint URLs)

For full details and the complete feature comparison, see our pricing page.

Advanced is a cost-efficient step up from Starter, reducing the cost per 1M CU: $0.72 vs $0.78.

The new plan provides ~4.4x the CU and 4x the RPS compared with Starter — a meaningful step up but materially less than Pro (Pro is 12x Starter capacity and a much larger commitment).

With Advanced, GetBlock users get space to build, test, and launch applications, without hitting limits too early or upgrading to capacity they don’t yet need.

Pro remains the right choice for large-scale use cases. If your needs include sustained high throughput, team account features, and priority support, Pro is still the recommended plan.

How to upgrade from Starter to Advanced

Upgrading from Starter to Advanced is straightforward and can be done from the user dashboard:

1

Log in to GetBlock’s user account.

2

Open the Pricing tab from the left-side menu.

3

Review the plan cards, select Advanced. Toggle Monthly / Annual if you want to compare billing options.

4

When you’re ready, click Get plan and complete checkout.

Existing Access Tokens stay active during the switch, and you can roll back if needed.

While adding Advanced, we also made the Pricing tab more useful. Plan cards now show clearer resource and feature previews. Dedicated Node pricing is easier to estimate, too: choose protocol + network and see a starting price instantly.

Final notes

Advanced is a pragmatic improvement to our plan lineup — a middle step that reduces friction for teams scaling to production. We’re not changing existing plans; we’re giving more choice to:

Growing teams scaling from MVP to production traffic

Independent developers whose projects are attracting real users

dApp builders preparing for launches, campaigns, or onboarding waves

In short: if Starter feels tight, but Pro feels too far, Advanced is the practical middle ground. Give Advanced a try and tell us what you think — we build with your feedback!

Warm regards,
The GetBlock Team
