GetBlock Feedback Portal

Did you know that you can contribute to the GetBlock development now? Here you’ll see how.

Recently, we’ve introduced the Feedback Portal, where everyone can request new features, offer their ideas, comment on suggested ones, and track the development process. Share your ideas with us - and we’ll see how we can realize them.

Suggest your ideas in the Feedback Portal

Every new feature, be it a new RPC node, an innovative plugin, or a new website section, begins with an idea. The primary power of the Web3 community lies in its members’ creativity, but it should be directed in the right way. That’s why we implemented our Feature Request (Feedback) Portal.

Here is how it works:

1

Anyone can sign up and create a post, describing which feature they would like to have in GetBlock

2

Other users can comment on the post, upvote it, and leave feedback, expanding the idea further

3

Based on feedback, we select the most relevant requests, review them, and take them into implementation

4

Users can track these processes in the Roadmap section, while implemented features are listed in the Changelog

Every GetBlock user or supporter can suggest a new feature or improvement idea, and then the community will discuss it and vote for it. Our mission here is to direct and moderate this process, ensuring that every voice can be heard while selecting and implementing the best ideas.

GetBlock CEO, Vasily Rudomanov, is very enthusiastic about this service and encourages the Web3 community to be proactive in their suggestions and ideas:

GetBlock is always ready to listen to you, and now it's easier than ever to be heard. Do you have an idea or suggestion? Share it on our brand-new Feature Request Portal. Be brutal, picky, push us harder, and demand more!

If you want to suggest anything, you’re very welcome -  but make sure to follow several simple guidelines:

Be clear and keep it short. For some suggestions, 1–2 sentences may be enough. For others, formulate your ideas in short paragraphs and use lists when relevant.

Where relevant, show how you would use the new feature. It’s always easier to understand a suggestion with a live example.

Be respectful to your fellow Web3 colleagues. Use only constructive criticism with alternative suggestions and target only the idea, not its author.

Develop a project and need an RPC node of a chain no one has yet? Need a new plugin for your dedicated Ethereum or Solana node? Have an idea that can help Web3 users connect to blockchain much more efficiently? Don’t waste time - visit the Feedback Portal now and let us know!

Comment on and communicate with collaborators

Besides putting forward your own suggestions, you can also review already suggested features and ideas. First, you can just vote for them, showing your interest - the most upvoted suggestions will naturally be prioritized. But if you’re really interested in a specific suggestion, open it - and dive deeper.

A suggestion with comments and feedback

Here, you can:

Leave a comment to praise the author, show constructive criticism, enter a discussion, or expand the idea.

Explore the suggestion status, look for similar posts, and leave deeper feedback regarding the planned feature.

Subscribe to the suggestion to get notified about updates, such as new comments or status changes.

Always feel free to comment, but follow the same guidelines as for writing a post to ensure that your comment will be heard and understood.

Review the GetBlock roadmap and changelog

Not only that, but you can also see where the GetBlock is moving and what is planned now.

In our articles, we always emphasized that transparency and community engagement are essential in the Web3 space. Now, we provide an example for every other RPC provider and Web3 project. Everyone interested can visit the Feedback Portal Roadmap and explore which changes are in work.

GetBlock roadmap: planned and implemented changes

To see which features are already implemented, visit the Changelog. As of mid-December, it’s still empty, as no features have been implemented yet, but as soon as they are, they’ll be published here. Subscribe to updates to see them first.

Remember, your upvotes, comments, and suggestions are essential for us to prioritize the suggestions and take them to work. Web3 is all about personal engagement that ensures that no central authority decides for you - and your own voice is heard instead. We’re here to guide and moderate your suggestions and ideas, but it’s you who decides.
