July brought major infrastructure expansions to GetBlock, a full-stack overhaul of our analytics, self-service billing, plus fresh chain support and node upgrades. In this Dev Update, we’ll walk you through each change – what’s new, how it works, and why it matters.

TL;DR:

Our global presence grows: GetBlock now offers private managed RPC nodes across three regions – the US, EU, and (NEW!) APAC with new servers physically located in Singapore.

Upgraded analytics: Request and CUs on one chart, slicing by region, and faster data loads.

New Invoices & Receipts feature: Download PDF financial docs for GetBlock service payments from your user account.

Expanded Dedicated Node roster with the fastest-growing ecosystems: Zora, Katana, Somnia & WorldChain.

Node software upgrades across Polygon, Sei, Solana & Linea.

GetBlock now in Singapore: New low-latency Dedicated Nodes service for Asia

GetBlock now runs Dedicated Nodes in Singapore, in addition to New York and Frankfurt.

A Dedicated Node is your own, fully-managed blockchain node (Solana, Ethereum, BSC, etc.) running on isolated hardware in a data center of your choice. Now our customer can pick Singapore when setting up any of the dedicated nodes.

Placing a node in Singapore means application servers and end-users in Asia – from Tokyo and Seoul to Jakarta and Sydney – talk to an RPC node that’s physically nearby. That trims network round-trip delays and boosts overall responsiveness.

Choosing a Singapore data center when deploying dedicated GetBlock nodes

How it works:

When configuring a new dedicated node, simply select Singapore, Singapore in the “Location” dropdown.

We spin up your private blockchain node in a Singapore data center.

You enjoy reduced latency without the unnecessary re-routing of blockchain requests.

Note: If you already have a node deployed in NY or Frankfurt, you can migrate it to Singapore. Simply reach out via your account manager or our support channels to schedule a seamless migration.

Meet enhanced statistics dashboard: New charts, filters, and faster rendering

We overhauled how our users view and interact with their usage metrics in GetBlock’s dashboard. The result is a cleaner layout and more detailed analytics.

The screenshot below shows the new look and functionality of our Statistics tab:

New more detailed statistics tab in GetBlock user dashboard

What is new:

1

The primary chart now shows request counts and how much “work” (Compute Units - CUs) they use, plus a consolidated view of both.

2

Region checkboxes have been added to a filter pane. All charts can be filtered by region: isolate metrics or compare them side-by-side.

3

A dedicated chart allows comparing usage metrics across different node locations – Frankfurt and New York (new Singapore data is on its way).

Additionally, expect much snappier load times because we moved data storage from Prometheus to a faster, more scalable database – VictoriaMetrics.

Automated invoices and receipts are here

You can now download your invoices and receipts right from the GetBlock dashboard for every payment – crypto or credit card.

The new automated invoice and receipts feature inside the GetBlock user account

Where to find it:

Pricing Tab (Left Sidebar) → Invoices: Shows a full list of all orders (plans, dedicated nodes, top-ups). Click Invoice or Receipt on any order to download the PDF.

In Account Settings → Billing information, you can update the billing name, address, VAT/GST number; future invoices will use the new data.

Why it matters:

Faster bookkeeping: Export financial docs anytime for audits, tax filings, or monthly reporting.

Improved transparency: See exactly what you’ve been charged, when, and how.

Better UX: Complete self-service means no more email threads or support tickets just to get your invoice.

Start managing your billing documents directly from your dashboard

New Dedicated Node networks

We expanded which blockchains you can run with GetBlock’s dedicated node service. The new additions:

Zora Network – The creator‑focused Layer 2 blockchain born from the trending Zora app.

Katana – A DeFi-first ZK rollup built on OP-stack and powered by Polygon’s AggLayer.

Somnia – An emerging ultra-fast EVM-compatible Layer 1 for gaming, entertainment, DeFi, and SocialFi.

World Chain - The Ethereum-secured Layer 2, powered and governed by the WLD token.

More networks are coming soon. Stay tuned for our next announcements!

Node client updates

We upgraded the underlying node software for several chains to keep our users on the latest, most stable releases:

Polygon nodes: Got an urgent Bor v2.2.9 patch that fixes the state-sync bug around Heimdall v1 to v2 migration.

Sei nodes: Upgraded to v5.6.2 at height 89,475,838 with improvements that the community voted in.

Solana: Solana Devnet (Agave) is now at v2.3.4 with bug fixes and performance improvements.

Linea: All Linea nodes now run Linea Besu instead of Geth. This provides a stable Java-based client and support for Linea’s custom RPC methods.

We hope you enjoy these enhancements. As always, your feedback drives our roadmap – share your thoughts via our contact form!

Until next month,

The GetBlock Team
