In February 2026, GetBlock, a Tier 1 infrastructure platform for Web3 and AI, completed SOC 2 Type I attestation, an independent audit of its data security design and controls conducted by Atom Assurance, a recognized firm specializing in SOC, ISO, GDPR, and PCI engagements.
This milestone strengthens the position of GetBlock and supports vendor risk assessment processes for enterprises and institutions operating under the most demanding security requirements
What SOC 2 Type I Attestation Means
SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) is a cybersecurity framework established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 2010. The attestation is voluntary and conducted by independent auditors.
A Type I audit certifies that an organization's systems and controls are designed to meet defined security and privacy standards at a specific point in time.
The audit confirmed that GetBlock's data handling practices meet rigorous standards across five dimensions:
Security
Availability
Processing integrity
Confidentiality
Privacy
In practical terms, this attestation qualifies GetBlock to serve customers who require SOC 2 attestation as mandatory for their partners, a standard common across mission-critical industries and, in some regulated contexts, required by regulators or institutional stakeholders.
The attestation enhances GetBlock’s ability to support enterprise and institutional clients operating under elevated security requirements.
Earlier this year, GetBlock was recognized by CompareNodes as the best Solana RPC node provider in Asia by connection latency. Try GetBlock's RPC nodes out of the box or request a customized setup for high-performance and specialized use cases.
Building Verifiably Secure Infrastructure for the Enterprise
GetBlock CEO Vasily Rudomanov notes two distinct dimensions to this announcement:
At the market level, GetBlock completing SOC 2 Type I attestation is a concrete step toward accelerating institutional adoption of blockchain infrastructure. This positions GetBlock to meet the security standards of organizations with the most demanding requirements including regulated and licensed institutions across banking, assets custody, cybersec, insurance, and other critical sectors. Internally, this milestone signals operational maturity. SOC 2 Type I validates the strength of our internal controls, the resilience of our security framework, and our commitment to transparency at scale. Our next objective is clear: we are progressing towards SOC 2 Type II.
Vasily Rudomanov — CEO, GetBlock
Achieving this attestation required a significant operational effort including a comprehensive review and refinement of internal data practices, staff training and examinations, and updates to HR policies and procedures.
The preparation process was led by Dmitrii Petrov, Lead Technical Project Manager and one of GetBlock's longest-tenured employees.
What Comes Next
GetBlock expects to complete SOC 2 Type II which validates that controls are not only well-designed but also operating effectively over time in early Q2 2026.
Upon completion, this will further strengthen GetBlock’s position among security-focused Web3 infrastructure platforms globally.
