RPC provider GetBlock adds Xai blockchain support

GetBlock, a Web3 infrastructure provider for 100+ blockchains, now delivers RPC node access for Xai – a gaming-optimized Layer 3 built on Arbitrum Orbit.

Xai developers building the next generation of Web3 games can access GetBlock's low-latency infrastructure services through JSON-RPC and WebSocket endpoints for realtime blockchain interactions and full historical data access.

TL;DR

GetBlock provides Xai blockchain infrastructure with flexible RPC node access options:

Shared Nodes: JSON-RPC and WebSocket APIs for Xai's gaming-focused network, with archive mode available for historical data queries

Dedicated Nodes: Private Xai nodes deployed on request, including full and archive node deployments

All services benefit from GetBlock's geographically distributed infrastructure across Frankfurt, Singapore, and New York facilities, ensuring low latency and high availability worldwide

Xai RPC endpoints are live the dashboard. Users can access Xai RPC URLs and deploy dedicated nodes with customizable settings from a single interface.

Xai RPC nodes live on GetBlock

GetBlock now supports the Xai mainnet with a full suite of RPC infrastructure services.

GetBlock Shared Nodes offer Xai mainnet node connectivity via JSON-RPC and WebSocket endpoints. Nodes are deployed in Frankfurt, Singapore, and New York; GetBlock users choose a region during the endpoint deployment process.

Archive Mode is available for projects requiring historical Xai blockchain state access, delivering archive node data even within Shared Node subscriptions.

Additionally, GetBlock offers Dedicated Xai node deployments with single-tenant resources and custom configurations. Dedicated Nodes provide the reliability essential for production gaming applications serving global player bases.

Multi-regional deployment means gaming applications can route requests to the nearest data center, minimizing latency for players worldwide.

Setting up Xai RPC endpoints

Access Xai RPC endpoints by signing into a GetBlock account. Create your API access credentials by following these five steps:

1

Click “Get endpoint”

2

Choose Xai from the list

3

Select full node (default) or archive mode

4

Choose node cluster location - New York, Frankfurt, or Singapore

5

Pick your API interface - JSON-RPC or WebSocket

Configuring Xai RPC URL on GetBlock

The endpoint is generated immediately. Receive a ready-to-use Xai RPC URL with your configuration choices and start querying the Xai blockchain.

Dedicated Xai node deployment steps

With the Dedicated Node service, users get access to an isolated Xai blockchain node - full or archive. The deployment is available entirely through the GetBlock dashboard:

1

Find the Dedicated Nodes tab in your dashboard menu and pick Xai

2

Configure the network (mainnet), node type (full or archive), geographic region (Frankfurt, Singapore, or New York), and API interfaces

3

Specify subscription details

Dedicated nodes require provisioning time. GetBlock deploys and configures your private Xai blockchain node within a few days, depending on customization requirements.

For custom deployments with more specific configurations, contact GetBlock support through the dashboard or our contact form to discuss solutions before submitting the provisioning request.

What is XAI blockchain?

Xai is a Layer-3 blockchain built on Arbitrum Orbit, combining Ethereum's security with gaming-specific optimizations. The network addresses critical pain points in blockchain gaming by offering fast, cost-effective transactions while abstracting Web3 complexity from end users.

Key features include larger contract limits for game developers and gasless transactions for players. Developed by Offchain Labs, the team behind Arbitrum, Xai leverages battle-tested scaling technology to support high-throughput gaming applications.

Launched in early 2024, the ecosystem now hosts diverse gaming titles, including Planet-X, Final Form, Chains of the Eternals, and Lost Glitches, available on mainstream gaming platforms.

Xai aims to remove Web3 onboarding friction to create a familiar gaming experience, while still offering blockchain's core value proposition: verifiable ownership and open trade of in-game items.

Xai now joins GetBlock's multi-chain infrastructure platform with complete RPC support, so game developers have the node access needed to build onchain without managing their own Xai infrastructure. Multi-regional deployment and archive data support are available from the start.
