We’re excited to announce that GetBlock has expanded its shared and dedicated node offerings to include World Chain - the network building a new layer of identity infrastructure, where real humans remain front and center in increasingly automated, AI‑driven digital experiences.
GetBlock adds support for World Chain
GetBlock now provides full API access to World Chain. As of July 2025, World Chain endpoints are available under our Shared and Dedicated Node service.
Like all GetBlock dedicated nodes, the World Chain endpoints come fully managed with:
Standardized JSON‑RPC & WebSocket interfaces;
Unlimited throughput with 99.9 % SLA uptime;
Global points of access in the US (New York), EU (Frankfurt), and APAC (Singapore).
Additionally, the World Chain API is now part of our Shared Node service. The endpoints are currently hosted in the US (New York) before expanding to other regions. This gives developers instant RPC API access without provisioning a dedicated node.
Introducing WorldChain as the latest addition to GetBlock’s RPC node suite, CEO Vasily Rudomanov invited developers to explore the first-ever “blockchain for humans”:
What’s truly exciting about WorldChain is its counterintuitive approach. While many still lean into AI narratives for marketing, WorldChain is already taking bold steps to mitigate the potential downsides of the AI revolution. At GetBlock, we’re always ready to support daring innovations with our battle-tested infrastructure.
GetBlock users can set up a WolrdChain endpoint and spin up a private node from their user dashboard.
Setting up a World Chain RPC endpoint with GetBlock
To get a World Chain endpoint URL from the GetBlock dashboard:
Open Dashboard → Shared Nodes → Get.
Select World Chain from the protocol list.
Select the network, API interface, and click Get.
After creation, the dashboard will show a generated RPC URL.
How to start a World Chain node from your GetBlock account
Deploying a private World Chain RPC node with GetBlock takes minutes, not days:
From the GetBlock’s dashboard, click the Dedicated Nodes tab.
In the “Protocol” dropdown, scroll or type “World Chain,” then choose the network (mainnet).
Click “Get” to proceed with the node setup details and confirm the deployment request.
If you need any assistance getting started or have questions about your World Chain node, our team is here to help. Reach out anytime via our Contact form or the in-dashboard chat.
What is World Chain?
Launched in October 2024 under the leadership of Sam Altman, World Chain is one of the three core pillars of the newly rebranded World Network ecosystem (formerly Worldcoin project).
It is the EVM‑compatible Layer 2 network secured by Ethereum and built on the OP Stack, designed to empower developers with unique primitives:
Free gas fees for verified humans: Eliminate transaction costs for any user who holds a World ID.
Powered by World ID: An on‑chain identity verification without compromising user anonymity.
Native mini‑app distribution: Deploy lightweight apps directly inside the World App to tap into millions of daily active users.
Built on the Superchain: Optimism’s OP Stack brings scalability and seamless Ethereum interoperability.
For developers, this translates into access to a vast user base and a trustless, high‑performance EVM layer to launch applications that are deeply user‑centric, be it AI-based, DeFi, SocialFi, or gaming. Now, easier with GetBlock.
Updated: August 15, 2025, to reflect Shared Nodes availability in the US (New York).
