With the rapid evolution of Layer-2 ecosystems, developers need reliable access to cutting-edge networks. Today, GetBlock is proud to extend our dedication to seamless blockchain infrastructure by adding support for the Fluent blockchain – a brand-new rollup that runs EVM, SVM, and WebAssembly (WASM) within one chain. With dedicated Fluent nodes now live as part of our RPC service, our users can explore this blended-execution architecture.
GetBlock adds support for Fluent nodes
Starting today, GetBlock users can spin up a dedicated Fluent node in minutes through their user dashboard and connect to the Fluent blockchain in a devnet/testnet mode via JSON-RPC and WebSocket endpoints.
By adding dedicated Fluent nodes, GetBlock is opening the door for early adoption of a platform that is yet to launch the mainnet but already promises unprecedented flexibility in smart-contract development.
GetBlock CEO Vasily Rudomanov shares his perspective on Fluent’s innovative design and its crucial role in advancing cross-ecosystem interoperability:
Backed by Silicon Valley legend Balaji Srinivasan, Fluent is a groundbreaking solution that unites the strengths of EVM, SVM, and Wasm - three of the most influential virtual machines in crypto. Its vision extends far beyond being just another ZK rollup on Ethereum — which, in itself, is no small feat. Developers working with Solidity, Vyper, and Rust are closely watching Fluent’s unique blended execution model, which is a rare and forward-thinking innovation. Launching Fluent RPC nodes on GetBlock marks a major milestone for the blockchain infrastructure ecosystem.
Meet the Fluent blockchain
Fluent is an Ethereum Layer-2 rollup that introduces a “blended VM” architecture natively supporting multiple virtual machines (EVM, WASM, SVM) in a single unified state machine.
It offers developers an environment to deploy applications based on Solidity, Vyper, Rust, and, potentially, more languages, side-by-side. Fluent also unlocks new design space for building “blended” dApps that mix components written in different languages – think high-performance Rust modules seamlessly talking to Solidity DeFi logic.
The result is full compatibility with existing runtimes, the flexibility to pick the best tool for each part of the application, plus the next-level expressivity and modularity for developers.
According to the most recent roadmap, Fluent’s mainnet launch is targeted for early 2026. Right now, early builders can use Fluent’s public devnet, with an official testnet launch just around the corner.
GetBlock allows developers to experiment with the test network now, well before the mainnet launches.
Getting started with Fluent on GetBlock
With these few clicks, you’ll have a fully managed Fluent testnet node under your account, ready for you to experiment with blended-VM contracts:
Create your free GetBlock account.
In the dashboard, select “Dedicated Nodes.”
Choose Fluent and pick the network (only testnet available for now).
