GetBlock adds Abstract to its list of supported blockchains. With this integration, developers get immediate RPC API access to a new Layer 2 (L2) blockchain explicitly optimized to make Web3 onboarding simple for mainstream users.
Abstract RPC nodes now live on GetBlock
We’re happy to announce that GetBlock now supports the Abstract blockchain. GetBlock users can connect to Abstract’s mainnet via our Shared and Dedicated node services, and provision testnet access on Dedicated nodes.
Abstract endpoints on GetBlock are available over JSON-RPC and WebSocket APIs. Shared Abstract nodes are live in Frankfurt, Germany, and available on all plans, including the free tier with daily 50,000 Compute Units. Paid plans begin at $39 per month.
Dedicated nodes can be deployed in Europe (Frankfurt), US East (New York), and Southeast Asia (Singapore) to reduce latency for global users. This integration puts Abstract within reach of teams that want to build fast without operating their own node fleet.
GetBlock CEO Vasily Rudomanov comments on the addition of Abstract to GetBlock's infrastructure stack:
Since the early days of the ZK rollups trend, GetBlock has been at the forefront of building reliable, turnkey infrastructure for dApp development. That's why adding Abstract to our Shared and Dedicated Node offerings is a natural progression. While retaining Ethereum-grade security, Abstract ensures smooth, cost-effective transfers and a straightforward developer experience. Set up an account with GetBlock and build cutting-edge dApps - from DeFi and gaming to AI agents - on Abstract via JSON RPC or WebSockets.

About Abstract chain
Abstract is a newly launched Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain built as a ZK-rollup. The protocol was incubated by Igloo Inc., the parent company of the Pudgy Penguins IP, led by Luca Netz.
Abstract’s goal is to make Web3 work like consumer software. This means removing classic UX blockers and lowering costs for developers building large-scale user-facing applications. To do that, Abstract’s design centers on native account abstraction to remove friction for end users, and ZK-rollup scaling to make transactions cheap and fast.
This makes Abstract a great fit for various use cases: from NFT platforms to games, social apps, DeFi experiences, and RWA products. By integrating the Abstract chain, GetBlock now offers the fastest path to production of such applications.
Start building on Abstract with the GetBlock API
To deploy an Abstract endpoint or dedicated node in minutes, head over to GetBlock’s dashboard. For a shared node endpoint:
Make sure you’re on the Shared Nodes tab and click the blue Get button
Choose Abstract from the node list
Generate an HTTP and/or WS endpoint

To deploy a private Abstract node, switch the tab to Dedicated Nodes. Customize configurations:
Mainnet or Testnet
the region of deployment (Europe, US, Asia-Pacific)
full or archive node mode
Confirm and wait for provisioning to complete.

If you need help with setup or enabling custom integrations, reach out through the GetBlock dashboard or open a support ticket – our team will be happy to assist.
As always, we’ll continue expanding regional coverage and platform integrations based on your feedback, so keep the requests coming!
