GetBlock is always working to ensure the best RPC node quality for our fellow Web3 devs and the entire crypto community.
Today, we’re happy to announce our collaboration with Pocket Network to enhance the resilience of our infrastructure against shortages and other unforeseen issues, which are inevitable.
Two infrastructure providers with different business models, but similar missions, combine their forces to build more stable and sustainable blockchain infrastructure for Web3 users—so let us tell more about that.
GetBlock suite: Why redundancy matters
While we try to keep our infrastructure working without interruptions, we must ensure that even if they occur, we can handle them successfully and protect user data. A truly good service isn’t the one that operates 99.99% of the time, but one that can handle the rest 0.01% without hardships for users.
Redundancy means that we have more infrastructure capacity than is used currently, without high operational costs for us. Therefore, we can deploy these free capacities at any moment they’re needed to ensure faster connection time or protect user data in case of shortage.
Long story short: redundancy equals resilience. That’s why our partnership with Pocket Network matters a lot for us.
What is Pocket Network, and what does it provide?
Pocket Network is an RPC infrastructure provider that offers public node access to empower all Web3 developers. They offer decentralized access to a variety of nodes for low or no price, run by different people in different locations. POKT token underpins this architecture.
Their mission is to empower the entire Web3 ecosystem with free data access, which resonates with GetBlock immensely. Our business models are different, but their combination allows fruitful partnerships between us.
Foundation-to-foundation business relationship
Our current partnership will allow us to use the Pocket infrastructure to back up our nodes, ensuring that no user data will be lost even if our primary infrastructure shuts down. Moreover, by using Pocket infrastructure, we can reduce connection time for our users across the globe, mitigating the latency issue.
GetBlock sees great potential in this strategic partnership and hopes it will continue, benefiting both our companies.
If you have any user feedback or a viable partnership offer, welcome to our contact form.
The primary goal: To empower Web3 ecosystems
Similar to all our activities, the current Pocket Network collaboration aims to provide the best experience for blockchain developers, traders, and all other Web3 folks who need RPC node infrastructure to perform.
As more chains, dApps, tokens, and business models emerge, we continue our work to increase the stability, security, and resilience of different Web3 ecosystems. They have the potential to change our world, making every person free and independent—and we believe they will do that.
And we won’t stop.
Always yours,
GetBlock
