GetBlock expands its multi-chain catalog with B3, a fast game-focused Layer-3 (L3) protocol built on Base. Developers can now connect to the B3 network through GetBlock’s scalable, multi-regional RPC infrastructure, unlocking frictionless access for building onchain games that perform at Web2 speed.
GetBlock announces support for B3 with managed RPC infrastructure
GetBlock starts offering managed RPC access to B3, enabling builders to prototype and scale game economies without the need to self-host B3 nodes.
GetBlock delivers RPC access to the B3 blockchain ecosystem through two operational models – production-ready RPC endpoints and managed private node infrastructure.
Shared endpoints provide immediate, low-friction access for development via JSON-RPC and WebSocket API, currently routed through New York-based nodes.
Dedicated B3 nodes deliver private tenancy and contractual uptime guarantees for production workloads. Hardware sizing, throughput planning, the region of deployment, and SLA options can be tailored to match application needs.
Vasily Rudomanov, CEO at GetBlock, welcomes a new blockchain to the platform's lineup of supported networks:
Bringing Pantera-backed B3.fun as the next addition to our Shared Nodes infrastructure is a significant milestone for GetBlock in Q4 2025. This marks our first venture into the emerging L3 blockchain segment on Base, currently the fastest-growing EVM network. Blockchain gaming continues to be an evergreen use case, and GetBlock remains committed to powering the next generation of titles launching on-chain. With over 7 million active wallets and 250+ projects onboarded, B3.fun is demonstrating real traction, and GetBlock is excited to support what comes next.
Vasily Rudomanov — CEO, GetBlock
Born from a team of former Coinbase and Base builders, B3 architects the future of fun through blockchain infrastructure, playable experiences, and investments. GetBlock accelerates that journey for indie developers, studios, and platform partners by providing a dependable infrastructure backbone.
Getting started with B3 API on GetBlock
The fastest way to start building on B3 is through GetBlock’s Shared RPC endpoints. Connecting to the B3 blockchain through the user dashboard is simple and instant:
Sign in to your GetBlock account
Get a JSON-RPC or WS endpoint for B3 Mainnet
Copy the generated RPC URL and plug it into your app or SDK
Need more power? You can provision a dedicated B3 node through our Dedicated Nodes flow:
Open the Dedicated Nodes section and select B3
You’ll be able to choose node configurations, region of deployment (EU, US, Asia), or request custom features
Enjoy isolated performance, unlimited scaling, and full control
If you need help sizing a dedicated node or upgrading from shared endpoints, GetBlock’s support and infra teams can assist with provisioning and migration – get in touch via our contact form.
What is the B3 chain?
B3’s Layer-3 blockchain network runs on top of the Base chain and is purpose-built to make onchain games feel as fun, fast, and frictionless as Web2 titles. It was founded under NPC Labs, led by former Coinbase team members who helped build Base.
The project raised seed funding from players like Pantera, Maker, Hashed, and Coinbase Ventures, and launched mainnet in August 2024. Since then, over 7 million wallets joined the ecosystem with hundreds of games live and in development on B3.
By inheriting Base’s throughput and using Celestia for data availability, B3 provides lightning-fast transactions at sub-cent fees. The result is a highly scalable network, where games can handle massive multiplayer loads without slowdown.
B3 supplies both the infrastructure — rich tooling, composable primitives, consumer-friendly onboarding flows — and the ecosystem incentives so game developers can build player-friendly onchain games without redoing core crypto plumbing.
With GetBlock-powered RPC access, developers can now connect to the B3 chain with reliable, scalable node infrastructure – perfect for building Web3 titles that prioritize player experience.
