Taiko RPC nodes live on GetBlock

GetBlock becomes an RPC provider for Taiko, one of Ethereum's most significant scaling innovations: a Type-1 zkEVM that achieves complete EVM equivalence through a based rollup architecture.

Developers can now interact with the Taiko blockchain through GetBlock's RPC infrastructure.

TL;DR

GetBlock starts providing managed Taiko node infrastructure with:

Instant access to Taiko JSON-RPC and WebSocket endpoints

Dedicated Taiko node deployment services

Full and archive node API available on all service tiers

User-configured regional hosting across Europe (Frankfurt), North America (New York), and Asia (Singapore) for optimal latency

Developers can connect their applications to the Taiko mainnet within minutes by setting up their endpoints or nodes in the GetBlock's dashboard.

GetBlock ships Taiko RPCs and Dedicated Nodes

GetBlock provides managed infrastructure for Taiko Alethia mainnet, eliminating the need for developers to run and maintain blockchain nodes.

This integration delivers production-ready API access to Taiko zkEVM through GetBlock’s two main Web3 infrastructure offerings:

Taiko RPC API endpoints connecting to GetBlock's Shared Node infrastructure

Taiko Dedicated Nodes deployed and managed by GetBlock for scaling applications and high-traffic platforms

GetBlock offers archive Taiko data access through both service levels. For development and analytics work, historical data is accessible via GetBlock’s Shared Node infrastructure. For production indexing services, blockchain explorers, or analytics platforms requiring high-volume historical queries, Dedicated archive nodes are deployable.

To offer low-latency global access, GetBlock’s Taiko RPC nodes are deployed across three geographic regions: Europe (Frankfurt), North America (New York), and Asia (Singapore).

When provisioning endpoints and dedicated nodes from the dashboard, developers can choose the region closest to their user base, minimizing response times and improving application performance.

What is Taiko blockchain? A zkEVM built for true EVM compatibility

Taiko is a Type-1 zkEVM rollup that achieves full Ethereum equivalence, meaning it preserves Ethereum’s execution semantics at the opcode level. Unlike Type 2-4 zkEVMs that require code adjustments or use custom precompiles, Taiko allows developers to deploy existing Ethereum smart contracts and use familiar tooling without any changes.

Taiko implements a based rollup architecture, eliminating centralized sequencers entirely. Transaction ordering is delegated to Ethereum itself, while block proposing and proof generation are permissionless roles open to the network. From a developer perspective, this means strong Ethereum security guarantees.

In practice, Taiko is well suited for applications that require exact Ethereum behavior and high confidence in execution correctness. This includes DeFi protocols sensitive to edge-case EVM behavior, cross-chain or composable systems that depend on Ethereum-native assumptions, and infrastructure services such as indexers or analytics platforms. Developers should expect lower execution costs than Ethereum mainnet, Ethereum-equivalent behavior, and zk-backed finality.

How to connect: Configure your Taiko RPC endpoint in the dashboard

Connect to Taiko API in under five minutes. GetBlock's Dashboard provides instant endpoint generation:

1

While on Dashboard, open an endpoint setup modal

2

Select Taiko Mainnet

3

Choose your API type: HTTPS (JSON-RPC) or WSS (WebSocket)

4

(Optional) Enable Archive mode to query Taiko’s complete historical state

5

Connect to nodes hosted in Frankfurt, New York, or Singapore

Once generated, the RPC URL appears in your endpoints list.

Shared Taiko endpoints support multiple subscription tiers that offer increasing rate limits, request volumes, and features, starting with free access.

Deploying Dedicated Taiko nodes with GetBlock

Teams requiring exclusive resources can deploy private Taiko infrastructure through the Dashboard's Dedicated Nodes section. The configuration process allows customization:

1

Select your hosting region (Frankfurt, New York, or Singapore)

2

Choose between Taiko full nodes or archive nodes

3

Select API interfaces and your preferred node client implementation if multiple options are available

Running a Taiko node

After reviewing your configuration and completing checkout, GetBlock deploys your private Taiko node infrastructure in your chosen data center, typically ready within a few days, depending on specifications.

Deploy on Taiko with GetBlock as an infrastructure partner

GetBlock provides the infrastructure foundation that Web3 developers need to build and scale on Taiko.

Shared infrastructure powers thousands of production applications across GetBlock's platform, providing reliable, high-performance access suitable for most Taiko applications.

Dedicated Taiko infrastructure addresses specialized requirements: extreme scale, custom node configurations for specific use cases, contractual SLAs for enterprise agreements, and sustained high request volumes.
