As part of its most significant service update in years, GetBlock, a leading RPC node provider, has reimagined its Dedicated Node offering. This upgrade enhances server infrastructure and customer support, streamlines pricing, expands the range of supported networks, and more.
In this article, we’ll break down the key changes to our Dedicated Nodes and show you how to access GetBlock’s most powerful offering at the lowest possible cost.
TL;DR: In addition to a major Shared Nodes upgrade, GetBlock is rolling out an advanced Dedicated Node service. Starting in early 2025, we’ve upgraded our infrastructure with more powerful servers in top-tier global data centers, expanded to new geographic zones, and strengthened our support team - all to enhance customer experience, connection speed, and failover protection.
We've also introduced a transparent Dedicated Node pricing model: $1,500/month for archive nodes, and $1,000/month for full nodes. Only a couple of resource-intensive nodes (requiring significant CPU, RAM, and storage) will be priced separately.
GetBlock users can still expand their existing Dedicated Nodes subscriptions at the old pricing until May 1, 2025.
Also, new users can buy their first subscriptions and enjoy the old prices until the upgrade begins on March 25, 2025.
GetBlock Dedicated Nodes 2025 upgrade: What’s changing?
In Q1 2025, GetBlock is revamping its RPC node service lineup, a core offering for crypto and Web3 developers. Following the launch of new shared node packages, we are now enhancing Dedicated Nodes, our premium solution for the most demanding use cases.
So, what are key upgrades for Dedicated Nodes in 2025?
- Enhanced infrastructure. We’ve migrated Dedicated Nodes to higher-performance servers with improved failover protection and faster internet connectivity.
- Expanded global reach. Our first servers in a new set of geographic zones are now live, ensuring the lowest possible latency for clients worldwide.
- Stronger 24/7 support. We’ve expanded our Customer and Tech Support teams to deliver even faster, round-the-clock assistance across all services.
- Streamlined pricing. Dedicated Node pricing is now clearer for both new and existing customers: $1,000/month for a full node, $1,500/month for an archive node. Only a few high-resource blockchains will have custom pricing due to their intensive CPU, RAM, and storage requirements.
First-time clients purchasing Dedicated Nodes in March 2025 can still secure them at the old pricing while extending the existing subscriptions of Dedicated Nodes of old prices is available until May 1, 2025.
GetBlock’s updated Dedicated Node infrastructure: Key benefits
GetBlock, a top-notch provider of blockchain nodes and Web3 infrastructure, advances its Dedicated Node offer.
Basics: Harder, better, faster, stronger
Dedicated Nodes are blockchain servers deployed specifically for a single dApp, tailored to meet its unique needs. They provide the fastest possible connection, high bandwidth, and unmatched reliability, making them essential for data-heavy crypto applications. Compared to Shared Nodes, Dedicated Nodes offer stronger failover protection and enhanced customization options.
GetBlock has been providing Dedicated Nodes for crypto applications since 2020. This year, we’re rolling out our most significant infrastructure upgrade yet to meet the growing demands of the next generation of dApps.
In January-February 2025, we were laser-focused on following three directions of Dedicated Node upgrade:
- Better hardware. We’ve migrated all Dedicated Nodes to next-gen data centers operated by top-tier hosting providers. Our infrastructure now features high-performance servers with failover-protected internet connectivity, ensuring maximum uptime and stability.
- New regions. For the first time, we’ve deployed Dedicated Nodes in the U.S. and Asia. If your users are located in these regions, they’ll immediately experience lower latency and faster response times. With Dedicated Nodes now available beyond the EU, your dApp benefits from reduced geographical distance and improved performance, particularly during high-traffic periods.
- Strengthened support team. We’ve expanded our Customer and Tech Support teams by onboarding specialists in Latin America, Central Asia, and the APAC region. This marks a complete overhaul of our support system, ensuring faster ticket resolution and instant issue handling, no matter where you are.
With this Q1 2025 upgrade, every client will experience significant performance improvements when using our premium Dedicated Nodes. This is just the beginning of a new, more powerful chapter for GetBlock.
Clear pricing (and time-limited offer!)
In the RPC infrastructure market, figuring out who charges what for Dedicated Nodes is often frustrating. Many providers offer complex pricing structures with numerous customization options, making it difficult to compare costs and find the best deal.
At GetBlock, we’re changing that.
We’re introducing a clear and unified pricing model for all Dedicated Nodes:
- $1,000/month for a full node,
- $1,500/month for an archive node.
Just like with a personal computer, the cost of running a blockchain node depends on factors such as storage volume, RAM, and CPU capacity. That’s why a few high-resource nodes (e.g., Arbitrum mainnet, NEAR mainnet) will have custom pricing based on their intensive infrastructure needs.
Existing subscriptions will remain unchanged until May 2025. Billing details will be updated automatically, once the upgrade takes place.
Until March 25, 2025, you can still purchase Dedicated Node packages at the old pricing before the new model takes effect.
Also, you can extend your existing subscriptions until May 1, 2025.
Migration schedule: Save the dates
Here’s how you can lock in your current subscription prices during our 2025 Dedicated Nodes upgrade.
Period | Scheme |
---|---|
March 15 - March 25 | All users can purchase Dedicated Nodes at the old prices. Existing subscriptions can be extended at the old prices. |
March 25 - May 1 | New prices go live in the configurator. New subscriptions can only be activated at the new prices, while existing ones can still be extended at the old rates. |
Starting May 1, 2025 | Only new prices apply—old pricing will no longer be available. |
It’s that simple: new service, old prices - available for a limited time.
Secure your Dedicated Node at old prices: Step-by-step guide
Here’s how you can extend an existing subscription at old prices
- Go to the Dedicated Nodes section in your GetBlock Account Dashboard.
If your subscription is in the Grace Period (expired but within the last 72 hours), click "Extend" next to the blockchain name.
Set up your renewal details and proceed to checkout.
- If your Dedicated Node is not yet in the Grace Period, you can still extend it at the old price. Click the menu on the left side of the tab with the blockchain name and select "Extend".
- You can also manage all your subscriptions via the "Manage Plans" menu under Pricing > Manage Plans.
- All subscriptions nearing expiration are displayed at the top of the Dedicated Nodes menu—extend them now to lock in the old prices!
N.B.: Crypto payments are one-time transactions while fiat payments can be set to recurring.

Unmatched cost-effectiveness
Even with these pricing adjustments, GetBlock’s Dedicated Nodes remain a powerful yet cost-efficient solution, combining top-tier RPC infrastructure with affordable pricing.
As we’ve mentioned before, Dedicated Nodes are highly flexible and customizable, making direct comparisons between providers tricky.
Every alternative comes with different configurations, so finding a true apples-to-apples comparison can feel like cherry-picking.
Network (mainnets only) | GetBlock, $/mo | Blockdaemon, $/mo | Chainstack, $/mo |
---|---|---|---|
Solana (Full) | 3,200 | Custom | 3,577 |
Arbitrum (Archive) | 3,000 | Custom | 7,884 |
