Cosmos (ATOM) RPC: Why should you choose it?

The Cosmos network was created in 2017 for the purpose of combining different blockchains.

  • The Cosmos RPC transactions use ATOM coins for fees. In total, there are already more than 256 million ATOM coins.

  • ATOM coins are not only used for payments between Cosmos nodes but also for voting on the direction of the project.

  • A kind of Delegated Proof-of-Stake algorithm is used to confirm transactions between Cosmos nodes. The creation of web3 apps, dApps and blockchain smart contracts takes place in a software environment called ABCI. Common programming languages such as Java, C++, Go or Solidity are used to write them.

  • The Cosmos RPC use the IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol) to link different blockchains together. Independent parallel blockchains, each using the Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) algorithm, can communicate with each other and with the central Cosmos blockchain

GetBlock offers reliable low-cost API endpoints to Cosmos; every dApp can easily migrate to Cosmos RPC nodes to make its operations more resource-efficient.
