She creates video tutorials and mentorship for women by advocating for inclusion in the web3 space. She handles the GetBlock Dev newsletters and ensures functionality accuracy.
Mercy Makinde is a Developer Relations at GetBlock. She joined the team in November 2025. Ever since she joined the team, she has been able to create over 20+ blockchain API references, which include code examples, clear descriptions of how they work, and what each blockchain entails for developers. With her knowledge and background in technical writing, she goes beyond just writing developer content or guides and can direct market GetBlock's tooling and services to developers in a simple, clear manner.
She is also known for her ability to thoroughly test applications to ensure they work perfectly as intended. She created educational developer content that indirectly onboarded developers to GetBlock, including Solana, Ethereum-based, and other ecosystems.
Aside from DevRel, she is also a well-articulated public speaker advocating for women in tech and working to open their eyes to diverse opportunities for both young and adult women. Ileolami is a vast woman in tech, psychology, and reviewing books for career development.
